SMILES AND MILES REGISTRATION

We are excited to announce that Saint Agnes will once again be hosting the 6th annual Smiles & Miles 5K Run/Walk in honor of Maria Schaffstein. This year, Smiles & Miles will take place Sunday, September 18. The Smiles & Miles event honors Maria Schaffstein, who was in an automobile accident in 2010 that sadly ended Maria's life, just prior to her high school graduation. Maria was a loving, giving, and gracious person who lived life to its fullest, always with a smile. The Smiles & Miles 5K Run/Walk is one way in which to honor Maria. This year, we are pleased to add the Katie Stewart Memorial FROG (Forever Relying on God) Hop for children 6 and under. Katie was also a Saint Agnes alum who was tragically killed earlier this year in a hiking accident shortly before graduating from college. We have renamed two of the scholarships from the Smiles & Miles event in Katie's honor. This is a great community event and features the run/walk, music, and food/drink from local vendors. Family registration pricing is available. To learn more or register click here.  If you would like to help in any way, please email Jacquie Bauereis at bauereisj@yahoo.com (link sends e-mail).
