VOLUNTEERS & BAKED GOODS NEEDED FOR FORT WRIGHT FISH FRY

Covington Catholic is scheduled to cover the volunteer needs at the Fort Wright Fish Fry again this year on Friday, March 17th. This will require about 16 student volunteers, 3 adult males (not sure why they specified), and 1 or 2 more adults. It will also require many generous contributions of baked goods (cookies, brownies, cupcakes, bread, etc.) to offer at the bake sale table. Our overall assistance earns us a percentage of the proceeds at the end of Lent, and we get 100% of the profits from the bakery goods table (stocked and manned by us). Please encourage your sons to volunteer for the event and consider volunteering or baking some goodies for us. Attending the FWCC Fish Fry on any Friday of Lent will also increase the dollar amount that the school is awarded in the end. Students and parents interested or participating in the CCH Outdoor Pursuits Club (camping, backpacking, rock climbing, etc.) are especially encouraged to help, as half of the proceeds are designated to help this club pay for our expenses, while the other half goes toward Community Service t-shirts and our Grief Support Group for grieving students. To volunteer, students should sign up for the activity on the CCH Service web site (www.x2vol.com) through their account. To inform us of baked goods that you can bring to the event, please Email Mr. Snyder: ssnyder@covcath.org. Thank you in advance for your generous assistance!
