APRIL 3RD - BISHOP DAY OFF!

In February during Catholic Schools Week, Bishop Foys granted each school in the Diocese a day off.  This day has been scheduled for Monday April 3rd.  CCH will not be in session on April 3rd.

Prom / After Prom Deadlines approaching…

Tuesday is the last and final day to submit prom/after prom forms to Mr. Flesch, and is the final day to purchase a prom ticket from Mrs. Rasp, as the final catering order must be confirmed by Tuesday afternoon.

Prom and after prom forms can be found on the school website, under Quicklinks, Prom.

Thursday is the final day for a parent note/email to Mr. Flesch regarding early dismissal from either event.

ALL SCHOOL LITURGY

We will celebrate an all-school Mass next Thursday, April 6.  Please remind your son to wear his school attire that day:  khaki pants, white collared shirt, CCH tie and a belt.

ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS:

Graduation is sneaking up on us and we need to start collecting info on the seniors.   Please send to Mrs. Kohlhepp all scholarship offers even if you are not going to accept them.  Info needed:  Name of college, name of scholarship, value of scholarship, is it renewable each year.  In order for the scholarship information to be included in the Baccalaureate Program, all offers must be submitted to Mrs. Kohlhepp by May 10, 2017.

Calls are coming in from parents in a panic.  Graduation gowns, caps and tassels have been ordered.  They were ordered in October when Graduate Service was here to meet with the seniors.  You do not have to order these items.  They are included in the school fees.   Caps, gowns, tassels, & NHS cords will be distributed in May at the graduation practice.

Mark your calendars for graduation:  May 23, 2017.  The day will begin at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes for the Baccalaureate Mass followed by the Baccalaureate Luncheon at Receptions in Erlanger.  Graduation is that evening at 7 p.m.  at Thomas More College.  Due to limited space, Mass and lunch are for the student and his parents only.  Graduation can be attended by anyone.  You will receive a detailed letter and instructions on making reservations in mid-April.

NHS HOLDING A QUILT RAFFLE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR MISSION

The CCH Nat’l Honor Society (98 members) is raffling a beautiful, handmade quilt (donated by Jan Paolucci) with proceeds to benefit the work of Fr. Joe Thaler (CCH 1967), a Maryknoll missionary working in Nepal. His work in Nepal helps many groups of people there, especially those affected by the devastation of the 2015 earthquake (with rebuilding, food, and education/enrichment programs for the children).

Tickets are $1 each and will be available from any NHS member and in the CCH lobby beginning March 27th. The goal is $2000 in sales. The drawing will be held April 6th.

AFTER-PROM VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

After Prom will be Friday, April 7th from 11:30 pm - 2:30 am at Five Seasons Sports Club.  We are in need of many volunteers to make this event safe and successful. Please visit the attached link to see how you can get involved.  We appreciate your help!
