MOCK TRIAL MEETING There will be a meeting on October 30, 2017 at 3:15 p.m., in Room 201 for students interested in Mock Trial. Commitment to the team will include practices twice a week leading up to the Regional and State competitions as well as competing at the University of Kentucky and Chase College of Law tournaments. The case this year is a murder case dealing with fraternity hazing. This activity is a great opportunity for any student, even those not interested in becoming a lawyer. A $50 activity fee will be changed if the student joins. If a student cannot be present at the meeting please contact Stephanie Dietz at sdietz@dofamilylaw for more information.
MARCH FOR LIFE Our school annually participates in the March for Life event in Washington D.C. I have witnessed our level of participation having grown from 84 students in 2008, to 213 students last year. Together with 11 parent chaperones and 8 faculty members, our five buses were part of a larger caravan totaling sixteen buses from the Covington diocesan high schools, parishes and youth groups to make this important journey. Our Colonels represented nearly one quarter of the Diocese of Covington supporters. (Click here for full letter & registration papers.) SKI CLUB NEWS Sweatshirt Orders: The deadline for ordering this year’s ski club sweatshirt has been extended until Friday, 10/27.
