The art studio at Covington Catholic is filled with the creative energy of the students, in the disciplines of printmaking, painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and more. Many CCH graduates have gone on to study art in college and pursued careers based on their positive experience in Mr. Hader's art classes.
Students may choose from classes and ensembles in vocal and instrumental music. The Chamber Choir represents CCH through concerts, community events, recording projects, all-school liturgies and graduation. The Select Choir is an opportunity to learn more about choral music in a fun, supportive atmosphere. These groups have collaborated with the univesity groups, including the male choruses from UK and UofL.
Students who play an instrument or who want to learn a new one can earn 1/2 fine art credit in the CCH/NDA Band or jazz ensemble, performing multiple concerts as well as at athletic events, school events, and graduation.
