Our Catholic Identity

The mission of Covington Catholic High School is to "embrace the gospel message of Jesus Christ in order to educate young men spiritually, academically, physically, and socially".

The faculty, staff and administration take this responsibility most seriously and our curriculum, facility, and daily activities reflect this commitment.

Students are required to study the basics of the Catholic faith, Sacred Scripture, the Sacraments, Morality, Vocations, under the guidelines of the Diocese of Covington in conjunction with the Didache series of texts, as mandated by our bishop.

Spiritual & Service Opportunities

  • Weekly Mass and adoration, semi-weekly rosary services, and weekly reconciliation are available; the entire school attends a monthly Mass and twice per year penance service.

  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is offered every 1st Friday of the month during school beginning with the end of Mass at 7:30am and ending with Benediction at 3pm.

  • All underclassmen attend a “Day of Reflection” in the Spring
  • Seniors participate in a multi-day “Senior Retreat” at St. Anne's Convent.

March for Life

  • Annually, hundreds of students attend the March for Life in Washington, DC.

Community Service

  • 100% of the Covington Catholic student body participates in community service each year, and can earn a varsity letter for service.
  • 2019 Senior Class completed over 18,000 hours of service in their four years at CCH

Additional spiritual and civic experiences take place, such as a visit by the Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima and a regional Naturalization ceremony.
