SPIRITUAL

The mission of Covington Catholic High School is to "embrace the gospel message of Jesus Christ in order to educate young men spiritually, academically, physically, and socially".

The faculty, staff and administration take this responsibility most seriously and our curriculum, facility, and daily activities reflect this commitment.

Spiritual & Service Opportunities

SPIRITUAL & SERVICE

Mass

Weekly Mass, twice-weekly rosary services, and twice-weekly reconciliation are available; the entire school attends a monthly Mass and twice per year penance service.

Adoration

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is offered every 1st Friday of the month during school beginning with the end of Mass at 7:30am and ending with Benediction at 3pm.

Retreats

All underclassmen attend a “Day of Reflection” in the Spring
Seniors participate in a multi-day “Senior Retreat” at St. Anne's Convent.
Sophomores may attend week-long (summer) retreat trips to Wyoming.

March for Life

Annually, students have the opportunity to attend the March for Life in Washington, DC.

Community Service

100% of the Covington Catholic student body participates in community service each year, and can earn a varsity letter for service. 60 hours are required for graduation.
2020 Senior Class completed over 15,000 hours of service in their four years at CCH

Other

Additional spiritual and civic experiences take place, such as a visit by the Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima and a regional Naturalization ceremony.
