CALENDAR CHANGES IN FEBRUARY 

To celebrate Catholic Schools Week, we will be on a "D' Schedule on Monday, February 5 and (per the Bishop's granted day off) we will have a four day weekend from February 16 - February 19 (President's Day Weekend).


CCH/NDA SHOWCASE:  REVOLUTIONS

Tickets for the Fine Arts Showcase, performed at NDA’s theater,  are now on sale, $5 for students/children and $12 for adults.  The show runs Feb 1-3 at 7pm, Sunday at 2pm, and an additional show on Saturday at 2pm.  Log in to the NDA website to purchase your tickets.  

 PHOTO CLUB SELLING CALENDARS

The Photo Club is selling 2018 calendars for $15.  We want to place the order asap, so if you would like to have one let Mrs. Ruth know quickly. (druth@covcath.org)

The calendar displays most all of the members’ photographs over the year.  Great pictures at a great deal!

COLORADO TRIP MEETING

Our final trip meeting will take place in the MultiPurpose Room on Tuesday, February 6 at

Chaperones at 7:00 am
Students at 7:15 am

This is a mandatory meeting for everyone on the trip.  At this meeting, you will receive complete itineraries by day, flight information, ground transportation details, and condo assignments.  All chaperones must be present as some of our chaperone guidelines have been updated.

There have been a few changes from the prior two year trips, as far as meals are concerned.  We will have two catered meals – one is a pizza party - courtesy of ski.com on Friday night, so no payment is due for that one.  Our other catered meal is on Sunday night.  We will have BBQ pork, whole chickens cut-up, creamy mac and cheese with bacon add-in, cole slaw, plus dessert and drinks.  Cost per person is only $15.  (This includes the rental cost of the party room.)   Please bring a checkbook (check made out to CCH) or cash to the meeting.

 CAREER EXPLORATION IS LOOKING FOR SPEAKERS

Mr. Schneeman is in the process of scheduling in class speakers for the Career Explorations class here at Cov-Cath. This semester speaking dates will run from January 29--May 9. There is one Career Exploration class this semester, which will meet during our 3rd  bell (M, T, Th, Fr 9:45-10:33) (W 10:08-10:51)

The class this semester will have mostly sophomore aged kids, and I am looking to get in a variety of career fields to open their eyes to the many career possibilities.

If you are interested in speaking to the Career Exploration class this semester, please email Rschneeman@covcath.org and let him know which dates you would prefer to speak from the list of dates below.

CATHOLIC MEN'S CONFERENCE

The tri-state’s largest Catholic Men’s Conference of 2018 is coming soon, featuring Fr. Larry Richards, Dr. Ray Guarendi and Fr. Jonathan Meyer! Please join us for the 2018 E6 Catholic Men’s Conference, which will be taking place on Saturday, February 24th 2018, at the East Central High School Performing Arts Center in St. Leon, IN (only 35 minutes northwest of Cincinnati). Last year, over 700 men attended the conference and this year we want to fill every seat in the building. World Meeting of Families

Join Mrs. Faye Roch, Director, Pro-Life Office, Mrs. Laura Keener, Editor, Messenger Office, Mr. Michael Murray, Director, Stewardship and Mission Office, Mr. Isaak Isaak, Director, Department of Catechesis and Faith Formation this year for  a pilgrimage to the World Meeting of Families in Dublin, Ireland from August 20th __ August 27th, 2018. During this exciting pilgrimage, you will see the sights around Dublin, as well as attend the 3-day Congress. You will also have tickets the Festival of Families and the closing Mass, where Pope Francis is expected to attend.
