REPORT CARDS Report cards were mailed to parents in today's mail. Enclosed with the report cards is a letter with instructions on how to schedule Parent/Teacher Conferences which will be held on November 7, 2018. You should receive your son's report card early next week.
PICTURE RE-TAKE DAY - Monday, October 22, 2018 Picture Retake is Monday, Oct 22nd in the cafeteria. If you want to get retakes, bring the old pictures to return to the photographer. If you need an order form, one can be gotten in the front office.
Ski Club News Perfect North Discounted Passes and the Bus Pass are still available online at Perfectnorth.com. Scroll to the bottom of the page to Club Login – choose Covington Catholic – our password is: showtime. If you have any questions about which pass to purchase or the round trip bus pass, please contact me. Please encourage your family and friends to buy their passes through our club login. Passes must be purchased by Nov. 12. The 2018 Ski Club Sweatshirt is now available for ordering. This is a mandatory sweatshirt for anyone going on the Colorado Trip in February. Order forms are available in Rm 312. All orders and payment must be turned in to Rm. 312 by Wednesday, October 24. Sweatshirts will be here the second week of November. March for Life update (January 17-19, 2019) So far, 30 students have registered for the January March for Life pilgrimage. Parents are reminded that registration and payment can be done online by visiting www.covcath.org , opening Campus Life, then Spiritual Life, and viewing March for Life registration and printing the two forms. Students applying for partial scholarships can get the required form from Mr. Flesch, and payment can follow registration. All completed forms can be returned to Mr. Flesch. Deadline for registration is November20th. Parents interested in serving as chaperones are invited to contact Mr. Flesch directly. Two other diocesan schools have contacted us as to the availability of space on our buses, so please make sure your sons are registered on time!
New Summer Mission Trip planned JUNE 9 – 15, 2019 CUMBERLAND, KENTUCKY (political unrest and danger continues in Nicaragua) Space for 60 missionaries Cost $750 per person, or $375 for any Adult chaperone who can provide transportation for self and at least 4 students. Adult chaperones with carpentry, construction, drywall, and/or painting expertise are needed. Work is primarily building or repairing houses of elderly or other persons in need. Staying at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Cumberland, KY. Daily Mass or prayer devotional. Faculty leaders Mr. Flesch and Mrs. Guard will host an informational meeting on November 15th, 6:00-7:00 pm, in the multi-purpose room.

BIBLE STUDY The next book of the Bible to be taught by Reverend Timothy Schehr is the Book of Ruth. This book tells us how a young girl from a foreign country became the great grandmother of David, the King. This book has the answer. It also includes a wonderful lesson about family loyalty and total trust in God.
