CANNED FOOD DRIVE Attention All Colonels! On Monday, November 12, Covington Catholic will be kicking off the annual canned food drive to benefit Be Concerned in Covington. Be Concerned has operated one of the largest free food pantries in Northern Kentucky since 1987. They help low-income residents of Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties each month. The CCH canned food donations help them annually to re-stock their shelves after the Thanksgiving holiday, allowing them to continue to serve the community on a daily basis and prepare for the Christmas holiday. There will be areas designated for each column to put their canned good items in the first floor hallways. Please place any items you wish to donate in the appropriate area for your column. Totals will be taken weekly and the column with the largest amount of items will receive Colonel Cup points as well as a special prize at the end of the drive in early December. Items that are in greatest need are: Cereal, canned fruits, canned carrots, canned peas, peanut butter, jelly, coffee, canned ravioli, and any condiments.
If you have any questions, please see Joe Huber or Reese Foster (Bosco Column Captains) or Mr. Zerhusen Let's show our community how the Colonels can "rally round" and help those in need. Thank you
