AMAZON SHOPPING MAKES A DIFFERENCE TO CCH

The school will earn 60% of its Amazon product credits between Nov 1 and the end of the year thanks to the extra effort of holiday shoppers stopping by the CCH homepage first and clicking on the small 'a' that will take them to the Amazon homepage. Please help us make this our biggest holiday season yet by making these two easy clicks before you start shopping at Amazon!  You may also use and share this link with others, which is encoded with the CCH info so that the school receives 6% of your order total in product credits! This fundraiser directly helps our students and teachers by providing equipment and supplies to the classroom!  Link:  https://amzn.to/2Ts8vER

In addition, there is a promotion being offered that for every new Amazon Prime free 30 day trial, the school will receive an extra $3.  What a great month to take advantage of this special even if they decide not to renew once the trial is up.  The link below is what was provided that takes the shopper right to this promotion, and would be what you publish when you run any FB ads specifically promoting the free trial.

ATHLETIC NEWS

HEART SCREENING AVAILABLE

mCORE To Provide Cardiac Screening Opportunity for Covington Catholic High School

PREVENTATIVE HEART SCREENINGS
I would like to share information on an excellent opportunity that's been made available to our athletes at Covington Catholic High School.  We are partnering with mCORE™ — Mobile Cardiac Overview and Risk Evaluation — to screen our athletes for the cardiac conditions and abnormalities which may put them at risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). mCORE partners with high schools and athletic organizations to give convenient and dependable heart screenings to students.

SCA is the #1 Killer of Student Athletes Each Year, many of which could have been prevented with a simple examination like this.

The time requirement is approximately 10-12 minutes per athlete. Each athlete will be given an EKG and Echo screening and these tests typically cost more than $2000 in a clinical setting. You may use your Healthcare Spending Account or Flex Care Spending Account. All screenings are performed by a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer and results are read by mCORE Medical Director and our pediatric cardiology team. (Please contact mCORE should financial hardship preclude you from taking part)

Learn more about mCORE and Preventative Heart Screenings at www.mcoreathletes.com
Covington Catholic High School Heart Screening
mCORE will be in the Multipurpose Room
