National Honor Society (NHS)
Meetings: Monthly
Moderator: Mrs. Emily Seal
Membership Requirements: Open to juniors and seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.55 or higher, have a record of service experience and an exemplary discipline record. Grades alone are not enough for membership in the National Honor Society. Students must show community and school involvement. They must demonstrate strong character as well.
How to participate: Eligible students who are invited to apply should fill out an NHS Candidate Information Form (download it, add your responses, save the file as NHSLastnameFirstname (e.g., NHSJoeSmith), put this same filename in the Subject line, and email it to Mrs. Seal AND carbon copy (cc:) Mr. Zechella by the end of the school day on November 22, 2021. This information will be used by a faculty council to choose members.
Recap of these instructions:
1. Download and complete the info form.
2. Save the file as NHSLastnameFirstname (e.g., NHSJoeSmith)
3. Put this same name in the Subject line.
4. Email it to Mrs. Seal and add a cc: to Mr. Zechella by end of school day on November 22, 2021.
