Covington Catholic, is proud to announce that three seniors, John (Jack) Harris, Nick Prospero, and Alex Williams have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation as semifinalists in the 68th annual National Merit® Scholarship Program.
Covington Catholic High School administrator Bob Rowe is one of 11 administrators selected across the U.S. to have earned the 2022-23 Outstanding PLTW Administrator award, which recognizes outstanding educational leaders for their commitment to providing students with meaningful learning experiences through PLTW programs.
Thanks to a donation of $167,000 from the Cincinnati Bengals, other CCH donors and the sweat equity of CCH supporters, the dream of an indoor training facility at Covington Catholic High School became a reality today. The facility was abuzz as supporters gathered and applauded the well-deserved thank you’s, a blessing from Fr. Hennigan and the ribbon was cut marking the official opening.

The state tennis tournament of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association in June is always a family reunion for Northern Kentucky’s most decorated family in the sport.
This year, the Molonys and the Husseys had another member to celebrate, when Covington Catholic sophomore Brady Hussey advanced to the semifinals of this year’s singles championships.
This June, our incoming Juniors and Seniors will spend a week in Wyoming on retreat focused on "Finding God" as they grow stronger in faith and friendship.
The Colonels sold a record-breaking $102,400 of Cash Madness tickets. Congratulations to Al Hainley who was the lucky Grand Prize winner of $40,960 and Kevin Kremer who was the Second Place winner of $5,120. Covington Catholic receives $56,320 for ongoing technology upgrades!

The 5th Annual Dan Tieman Classic will be held at BB&T Arena on the Northern Kentucky University campus on Friday, Feb. 11th. The game will feature Covington Catholic High School Colonels versus the North Laurel High School Jaguars in a rematch from the championship game of the King of the Bluegrass Tournament in Louisville on December 21, 2021. Congratulations to Leo Bouldin (CCH 2021) for being selected as St. Elizabeth's NKYs Walker Smallwood Award Winner, given to athletes who have shown endless courage when faced with challenging situations. After tragically losing his brother last summer and switching schools during COVID-19, Leo Bouldin went on to break five school records in track and field as he channeled what would have been a negative situation into the strength and courage he needed.

For the fourth consecutive year, Covington Catholic has been named a PLTW - Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished High School, one of only 204 PLTW High School programs nationwide and only 5 in Kentucky to receive this recognition for 2020-21.
