We are excited to welcome you and your son to Covington Catholic as members of the incoming freshman class! This is a reminder of the Freshman Orientation Night that will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at 6:00 PM in the Gym.
This important evening is designed to help your family feel confident and prepared for the transition to high school. We strongly encourage at least one parent and the student to attend this presentation.
During the meeting, you will receive:

-Your son’s course list
-The important dates calendar
-Your welcome yard sign

Various speakers will share key information to help you prepare for the start of the school year, including:
-Summer reading requirements
-Technology ordering
-Spirit Shop and gym uniforms (Note: The Spirit Shop will be open before and after the event.)
-Volunteer opportunities
-Community service expectations
-Athletic Programs and sport physical requirements (link to FinalsForms and info on free physicals from OrthoCincy)

In addition, this evening will serve as the official sign-up night for fall sports, as well as basketball and wrestling, and provide information to register for the Covington Catholic / Notre Dame Academy Band program. Students must be fully enrolled before they can participate in any extra-curricular activities. 
To help your son get off to a strong start, we also encourage you to explore our Summer Academic Success Camps, led by Ms. Tewes. These camps are a great way to build confidence and sharpen skills in math and reading before the school year begins:
